After moving to Lafayette in January of 1993, Chris’s practice focused on litigation. After spending his early years lawyering with a respected and longstanding corporate defense firm in Lafayette, Chris shifted his focus to representing individuals and small businesses in the Lafayette area. Most of these cases dealt with injury claims of all types – from industrial and work accidents to car accidents to medical malpractice claims against healthcare providers, including nursing home neglect and abuse cases. Chris handled all types of claims, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries and cases involving paralysis. In addition, Chris occasionally represented corporations, small and large, in litigation matters; representative National clients included Tronox Limited and Blue Bell Creameries, L.P.
Chris has in recent years shifted his practice to primarily serving as Judge ad hoc in Louisiana’s Workers Compensation Courts. Chris is also a qualified and trained Mediator in Civil Litigation, ready to serve as Neutral in civil litigation matters.
Most importantly, Chris and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of two sons.
